Swimathon 2008:- Date:- 19th April 2008 In this day and age, where we all lead such busy lives, our own health and fitness often gets overlooked. However, with obesity levels rising, and the country facing a national health crisis, it is vital that we try and stay focused and get healthy. By taking part in Swimathon, you will not only help those supported by Marie Curie Cancer Care but you will increase your fitness levels and feel a better person for it, both in body and mind. Over 20,000 swimmers in more than 500 pools across the country will dive in to show their support for this extremely worthwhile cause. Funds raised will allow Marie Curie Cancer Care to continue to provide expert nursing to terminally ill cancer patients.
